Confrontation of materials

In this workshop, participants come to discover the riches offered by raw materials not traditionally used in mosaics. From rusty metal to aged wood, these salvaged objects will find a new life and reveal their beauty. Combined with pebbles, marble, glass, smalt and terracotta, these materials will be used to create harmonious abstract compositions and vibrant new textures. The first day is devoted to drawing the cardboard, researching, preparing and cutting the materials - this is what we call the creative process. Then, while respecting the fundamental rules of contemporary mosaics, each participant's imagination is invited to run free. Laying is direct on a format of approximately 30x30xm.
